What type of contraceptive management does Dr Clifford offer?
Dr Clifford will assess your needs and health conditions to choose the right contraceptive option. We commonly prescribe oral contraceptive pills (OCP’s) which contain safe estrogen and progesterone hormones to prevent pregnancy. In addition, other forms of birth control such as Depo-Provera, and intravaginal rings are also used for short term contraception.
For long term contraception, we offer IUD’s or intrauterine devices. These devices rest within the uterus and will help prevent pregnancy for 5-10 years depending on the device. This is a safe and reliable option for women who want to have a hassle free convenient method of birth control. IUD’s are inserted as an in office procedure, minimizing cost and maintaining comfort.
